Villa Muranco is a stone-built mountain house that was lovingly restored in 2000. Inside, original features have been stylishly blended with contemporary furnishings. Outside, Villa Muranco is set in an unrivalled location, offering a haven of relaxation from metropolitan living, yet only 30 minutes from the sophisticated marina of Bodrum.

Inside
The open plan living area sets the tone for the whole house with its spacious double height high ceiling and thick stone walls keeping the room cool even in the mid summer heat. Picture yourself stretched out on one of the large comfortable sofas, listening to your favorite music, while a cool breeze, carries the scent of jasmine flowers gently through the linen curtains!

Above the lounge area is a striking galleried landing which runs round two sides of the upper floor. The villa offers four double bedrooms tastefully decorated in chocolate browns, aubergine and teal. Two bedrooms (with en suites) lead off the galleried landing, a third is higher again, in a charming attic room offering surround panoramic views of both the pine forest and the olive groves. The fourth double bedroom is downstairs off the main living area adjacent to the main bathroom.

A well equipped modern kitchen is off the lounge area with oven, hob, fridge and fully stocked cupboards with all the utensils and crockery you could need. Dividing the kitchen from the lounge in this open plan living space is an eight person dinning table.

Outside
Villa Muranco is nestled between fragrant pine forests and 8000 m2 of olive groves and the villa still produces its own organic olive oil and olives which are available for purchase. The countryside views from the villa are unsurpassed, dine al fresco on one of the terraces, or just relax in the shade of the pergola with a glass of chilled wine.

Within the grounds, the villa has a private swimming pool, nestled between olive trees and cactus. The pool measures 4m by 8m, with a depth of 1.50m. The area surrounding the pool is paved with stone sourced from locally renowned Denizli and shaded by a wooden pergola with sun loungers.

After an exhausting day of swimming and relaxing, why not stay home and have your hosts prepare you contemporary Italian or traditional Turkish dishes? How about Spaghetti Nero with seafood, organic wild mushroom risotto (gathered locally from surrounding pine forests), an assortment of seasonal mezes, such as samphire with olive oil garlic and lemon, aubergine in tomato and garlic, or, a grilled, local sea bass with a salad of our own basil and vine tomatoes, followed by hot chocolate soufflé? All discreetly made and served at a time to suit you by your villa hosts.
